CZ 114
CZ114 is a type of High Tensile Brass with higher percentage of Aluminum and finds its application where strength and Corrosion resistance are required. This grade has a poor machinability rating but is excellent for hot forgeability. Sometimes it is also referred as Manganese Bronze. The Aluminum and Tin Percentage helps in brighter finish of the material with improved corrosion resistance. The addition of Iron helps in improving the strength level of the material.
